Cara Tyrrell

M.A. Ed., B.A. ASL & Linguistics

Cara has Bachelors degrees in ASL and Linguistics and a Masters degree in Education. She is a trained Early Childhood Teacher and Early Years Caregiver, continuing education consultant, and parent coach. In her preschool and Kindergarten classrooms she identified a pattern of underdeveloped skill sets in her students, indicating a lack of overall readiness to learn.

After years of hearing parents say, “I’m so glad you are their first teacher” Cara realized, she wasn’t! The solution to arming Preschoolers and Kindergarteners with comprehensive readiness skills for finding success in school started with those same parents, in the family home, at birth.

This led to her professional pivot. Cara left the classroom to test her Collaborative Parenting Methodology(TM) as a full-service nanny, serving a family from the birth of their child until they entered a traditional school setting. Years of implementing strategies, systems, and scripts, confirmed her hypothesis. All children, regardless of their birth origin or natural characteristics, can thrive as early learners in the Core4Readiness areas when parents and caregivers create the environment with intention.

In early 2020, at the onset of the COVID pandemic, Cara felt called to bring the Core4Methodolgy for raising truly world-ready kids to the world. To arm proactive parents with the tools they want and need to raise happy healthy, successful kids; is the true gift.

Through Core4Parenting, she’s shifting the focus: Parenting Personal Development meets Early Childhood Education.

Cara’s coined the phrases Parenting GPS and teaches how to write a Personalized Parenting Mission Statement as the cornerstone of her Collaborative Parenting Methodology(TM) serving the ILY: Invisible Learning Years from birth to five.

Perspective Based Parenting becomes Core4

Before launching Core4, Cara invested considerable time validating her methodology to large groups virtually. Here she was able to run courses and refine delivery models that ensured parents were equipped to become their child’s first teacher.

She finds deep joy empowering and engaging new parents to raise whole children: body, mind, and spirit through the Core4 community, courses, Transforming the Toddler Years Podcast, and Transforming the Toddler Years Course, providing them with a personalized parenting tool kit to be their child’s first and best teacher!

Cara’s dream? To see the next generation of world-ready kids-turned-adults add value to our world using their unique gifts.
